Malaria threatens an estimated 3 billion people in 106 nations.

AMP 4 Africa is a student-run, student-based organization that works to prevent malaria all over Africa. For the past two years, we have raised money to buy mosquito nets for families in Africa who cannot afford anyprotection against malaria. We have raised money through bakesales and donations and we are continuing to work on fundraisers will enable us to help the malaria-stricken people of Africa.

Each year, 300-500 million people worldwide are affected by malaria, and of those, over one million die.

90% of the cases of malaria are in Africa, most of them occurring in women, children and the elderly. 70% of the people that die from malaria are under the age of five.
